A Day at Smith’s Canine Club
Every day at Smith’s Canine Club is designed around routine, enrichment, and your dog’s wellbeing. While no two days are exactly the same, our structure helps dogs feel settled, confident, and relaxed throughout their time with us.
Our dog daycare operates daytime only and focuses on balanced activity, social time, and rest.
Every dog’s day is adapted to their personality, energy level, and confidence.
Morning Arrivals & Settling In
Dogs arrive, greet familiar friends, and settle into the environment. Morning excitement is followed by outdoor toileting, fresh air, and time to relax into the routine for the day.
Morning Activity & Enrichment
Once everyone is settled, the day begins with supervised play, enrichment games, simple puzzles, trick training, and interactive play with staff, keeping both minds and bodies engaged.
Midday Balance & Calm
As energy levels naturally dip, activities slow down. Dogs enjoy rest periods, calm enrichment, shaded outdoor time, or quiet companionship depending on their individual needs.
Rest, Relax & Recharge
Afternoons include intentional downtime. Some dogs nap, others relax in quiet areas, and those who prefer company over play are given calm spaces to unwind comfortably.
Afternoon Engagement & Wind-Down
Later in the day, many dogs enjoy a gentle second burst of energy. This may include fetch, tug, puzzle toys, or relaxed play, followed by a calm wind-down before heading home.
